Rockwell Belt Sander

Or as Rockwell likes to call it, an "Abrasive Belt Finishing Machine".   It's a 6" x 48" belt sander, model 31-520.  The original owner tells me it was built around 1972.  It sits directly next to my Rockwell bandsaw, and the sheet metal bases are identical.  Did you know that the tables on a Rockwell bandsaw and a Rockwell belt sander are exactly the same height from the floor?  They are and that is right spiffy when you position the two machines near each other in the shop.
I really dislike the location of the switch on this machine.  Bending over to reach the switch whilst a belt is disintegrating is too much excitement.
